Trump “Abruptly” Storms Out of “60 Minutes” Interview, Ditching Mike Pence

President Donald Trump abruptly ended his “60 Minutes” interview before a joint appearance with Vice President Mike Pence, CNN reports.

Trump “abruptly” walked out of the interview with Lesley Stahl after about 45 minutes “because he was frustrated” with her questions.

A source told CNN that most of the interview focused on the coronavirus.

Trump left before he was scheduled to do a second segment with Pence.

The episode, which will air Sunday, will include a similar interview with Democratic nominee Joe Biden and a joint appearance with Kamala Harris.

Trump attacks Stahl:

After walking out, Trump tweeted a video of Stahl talking to her producers.

“Lesley Stahl of 60 Minutes not wearing a mask in the White House after her interview with me. Much more to come,” he wrote.

A source told CNN that the video was taken right after Trump stormed out and Stahl had not yet gone to get her belongings and mask.

She had a mask from the time she entered the White House until the interview began.

Trump threatens to release footage:

“I am pleased to inform you that, for the sake of accuracy in reporting, I am considering posting my interview with Lesley Stahl of 60 Minutes, PRIOR TO AIRTIME!” Trump tweeted. “This will be done so that everybody can get a glimpse of what a FAKE and BIASED interview is all about.”

White House chief of staff Mark Meadows told CNN there is a “high probability” the president would release the interview.
