Sandy Hook Lawyers Say They Notified The FBI After Receiving Child Porn From Alex Jones

Lawyers representing the families of Sandy Hook victims in their lawsuit against InfoWars founder Alex Jones said they notified the FBI after files turned over by Jones contained child pornography that was apparently sent to the site.

Lawyers for the eight families suing Jones for claiming that the mass shooting that killed 26 people, mostly children, was a “hoax,” told The Connecticut Post they found child porn on electronic files turned over in the lawsuit.

“The FBI advised counsel that its review located numerous additional illegal images, which had apparently been sent to InfoWars email addresses,” the attorneys told The Post.

Jones' lawyer, Norm Pattis, told The Hill that there is "no indication anyone at InfoWars knowingly possessed child pornography."

"The items were embedded in emails sent to folks at InfoWars without ever having been opened," he said. "The plaintiffs’s lawyer suggestion that anyone at InfoWars knew child pornography was embedded in emails is risible.”

A court filing by the Sandy Hook lawyers says “if the Jones Defendants had engaged in even minimal due diligence and actually reviewed the materials before production [to the plaintiffs], they would have found the images themselves," CNBC reported.

Jones rages at Sandy Hook lawyers over report:

Jones threatened to put Sandy Hook attorney Chris Mattei’s “head on a pike” in response to the report last week.

“You’re trying to set me up with child porn, I’ll get your ass,” Jones states on the broadcast. “One million dollars, you little gang members. One million dollars to put your head on a pike.”

Jones pounded his fist on a photo of Mattei and ranted, “I’m gonna kill …”

Pattis denied to the Post that Jones threatened Mattei despite explicitly threatening Mattei.

“Mr. Jones was upset, he did not threaten Mr. Mattei,” Pattis said. “He spoke in a compassionate fashion.”
