Ex-Breitbart Editor Leaks Over 900 Emails Showing Stephen Miller Promoting White Nationalists

White House adviser Stephen Miller pushed white nationalism and anti-immigrant rhetoric in emails leaked by a former Breitbart editor to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

A Southern Poverty Law Center report titled “Stephen Miller’s Affinity for White Nationalism Revealed in Leaked Emails,” was published after former Breitbart editor Katie McHugh gave the organization more than 900 emails Miller sent Breitbart editors between 2015 and 2016.

The emails show Miller pushing Breitbart to cover stories he shared from the white nationalist outlet VDARE and the white supremacist platform American Renaissance, among others.

Miller urged editors to emphasize crimes committed by immigrants and nonwhites, promoted literature popular among white nationalists, and trying to “create a narrative” about the removal of the Confederate flag after the 2015 Charleston mass shooting at an African-American church.

The report’s author noted that he was “unable to find any examples of Miller writing sympathetically or even in neutral tones about any person who is nonwhite or foreign-born.”

McHugh, who was fired in 2017 over anti-Muslim tweets and has since renounced the far right, told the outlet that she sees the ideology in the emails in Trump policy.

"What Stephen Miller sent to me in those emails has become policy at the Trump administration," she said.

White House cries “anti-Semitism”:

A White House official claimed to Axios that Miller was the real victim.

"This is clearly a form of anti-Semitism to levy these attacks against a Jewish staffer,” the unidentified official said.

White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham admitted that she did not see the report but told The Washington Post that the Southern Poverty Law Center, a civil rights nonprofit that monitors hate groups, was an “utterly-discredited, long-debunked far-left smear organization.”

“They are beneath public discussion, even in The Washington Post,” Grisham said, ignoring that the emails were Miller’s own and were turned over by a former Breitbart editor.

Dems call for Miller to resign:

“As I said earlier this year: Stephen Miller is a white nationalist. And now we have the emails to prove it,” Rep. Ilhan Omar wrote after she was accused of anti-Semitism for calling Miller a “white nationalist” in April. “This type of racism and hatred has no place in our government. Miller needs to step down. Now.”

“Stephen Miller, Trump’s architect of mass human rights abuses at the border (including child separation & detention camps w/ child fatalities) has been exposed as a bonafide white nationalist,” added Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. “He’s still at the White House shaping US immigration policy. Miller must resign. Now.”

“Donald Trump put a Neo-Nazi in charge of immigration policy,” tweeted presidential candidate Julian Castro. “Both him, and Stephen Miller, are a shame to our nation.”
