On Tuesday night at the BET Hip-Hop awards, Eminem launched a hateful attack against President Trump, calling him “orange,” “racist,” and much worse. Towards the very end of the freestyle rap, he flipped off any of his fans who just so happen to be Trump supporters with the following statements:
“And any fan of mine who's a supporter of his, I'm drawing in the sand a line, you're either for or against, and if you can't decide who you like more and you're split on who you should stand beside, I'll do it for you with this- F--- you!”
Eminem’s classless, untrue statements about the President are problematic on all counts. First and foremost, accusing Mr. Trump of racism is simply inane and inaccurate. Instead of political grandstanding, perhaps Eminem would be better off doing some research before he pops off in another freestyle rap. Also, President Trump is on record condemning racism going back decades, yet the increasingly vile political Left refuses to acknowledge facts which conflict with the narratives they wish to promote. It’s an utter disgrace.
More lyrics from the rapper’s disgusting tirade are as follows:
“We better give Obama props 'cause what we got in office now is a kamikaze that will probably cause a nuclear holocaust while the drama pops, and he waits for s--- to quiet down, he'll just gas his plane up and fly around till the bombing stops.”
“That's why he wants us to disband ‘cause he cannot withstand the fact we're not afraid of Trump. Walking on egg shells, I came to stomp. That's why he keeps screaming, 'Drain the swamp,' cause he's in quicksand.”
“But this is his form of distraction, plus he gets an enormous reaction when he attacks the NFL, so we focus on that instead of talking Puerto Rico or gun reform for Nevada. All these horrible tragedies and he's bored and would rather cause a Twitter storm with the Packers.”
“He says he wants to lower our taxes, then who's going to play for his extravagant trips back and forth with his fam to his golf resorts and his mansions?”
“Same s--- that he tormented Hillary for and he slandered then does it more. From his endorsement of Bannon, support for the Klansman, tiki torches in hand for the solider that's black and comes home from Iraq and is still told to go back to Africa.”
“He says you're spitting in the face of vets who fought for us you b-------, Unless you're a POW who's tortured ... cause to him you're zero cause he don't like his war heroes captured. That's not disrespecting the military.”
While liberals have lauded the rapper, many conservative Trump supporters noted the poor taste and flagrant inaccuracies within Eminem’s statements. In his “lyrics,” Eminem linked the President to the Holocaust, racism, etc. Perhaps the rapper is unaware that Mr. Trump has made himself an ally of Israel in addition to having a Jewish daughter, a Jewish son-in-law, and Jewish grandchildren.
Claiming President Trump is a racist regardless of all facts and logic proving otherwise has sadly become a liberal trademark. For all their claims of peace, acceptance, and tolerance, progressives only demonstrate this towards people who think like them. Eminem proved this by quite literally flipping off fans of his who also happen to support President Trump. How unfortunate.
If entertainers continue to alienate their fan bases, they shouldn’t be surprised to see their support drop. Many Americans speculated that Eminem’s freestyle rap was employed as a tool to promote his upcoming album. If this is true, bashing the portion of his fan base which happens to also support the President was not the smoothest of moves. Alienating fans and viewers who either make or break his career for political reasons, will only hurt himself, not the President. Sadly, liberals have become so blinded by their hatred for Trump that they’re willing to self-sabotage.
Furthermore, Eminem is in absolutely no position to claim the moral high ground. The man is infamous for his violent lyrics and highly questionable statements about women. Perhaps Eminem should look within before spewing a litany of expletives at the President. It’s hypocritical beyond words and just another example of selective outrage.
To the surprise of nobody, Democrats and Trump critics have lauded Eminem, proudly backing and endorsing him. Apparently, “resistance,” lies, and slander is all liberals have left. Figures like Eminem are why progressives will continue to lose elections. President Trump isn’t the problem. The extreme, radical and toxic left-wing Democrats are. Until they come out and disavow extremists like Eminem, they should cease wondering why Americans continue to leave their ranks in droves. The Left’s irrational loathing and viciousness for anyone who holds opposing political views will be their ultimate undoing.
