Both presidential candidates might also be zombies by the time one of them reaches office

According to Govtrak.us, between January 6, 2015 and the present, Congress has only enacted 219 of the 11,204 bills presented.  That’s a whopping 2%, adding up to the same amount of real meat found in a Big Mac.  This exasperatingly proves the point that Congress is as effective as a zombie.  And as of right now, it looks like both presidential candidates might also be zombies by the time one of them reaches office.  Based on the current state of Hillary Clinton’s health and Donald Trump’s exuberant claim that he is in great shape, there is reason to believe that this prophecy might come true: the first zombie president of the United States!

Hillary Clinton fainted at the 9/11 memorial service with pneumonia.  It is possible that she truly was sick, but my guess is that she is run-down and stressed from the campaign.  Chronic stress can affect your immune system, which can lead to pneumonia. According to Medical News Today, pneumonia is the eighth leading cause of death in the United States. Welcome to the United States of Pneumonia!  This is a scary prospect.  If she can’t handle the stress of the campaign, what’ll happen when she makes it into the Oval Office?  And this isn’t her first serious health issue.  According to CNN, Clinton was told to take blood thinners to prevent blood clots in 1998.  Neither of these health concerns should be taken lightly, as they could lead to the democrats literally dragging any candidate into the Oval Office over Clinton’s dead body.

Beyond Clinton’s serious health issues, she has some other health-related concerns worth paying attention to.  For example, she suffered a fractured elbow in 2009.  This happened while walking to her car in the basement of the State Department.  She was 61 when she fell.  In addition, she had a concussion after fainting days before she was scheduled to testify regarding the Benghazi attacks.  Because of that fall, she had to wear special glasses for her vision.  Other than that, she has had B12 and Thyroid hormone replacement, as reported by the Associated Press. Despite all of these health issues, she must also have super powers because she pulled one off against the FBI regarding her email scandal.

Donald Trump’s health is more suspect.  This is because he protests that his health is great, and the only evidence to back this up is the fact that he is walking on two feet and his doctor of many years wrote a letter saying his health was impeccable.  In fact, the letter is filled with exemplars, including quotes such as, “If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.”  Everything in the letter, from lab tests to cardiovascular tests, was excellent.  Moreover, when he went on Dr. Oz to announce more detail on his health, Dr. Oz said if he would give Trump a good bill of health based on the details.  The only negative was that he was slightly overweight, but who isn't these days? The fact he claims to be so healthy might make sense if he offered to build his proposed wall himself, but we know that won’t happen.  Only then would we know he is truly healthy.  However, seeing that he is 70 years old, there are age-related health concerns at the very least.

His mouth may remain strong until the day he dies, and his young wife may give him a heart attack, but he is at risk for many things due to aging.  For starters, he’s at risk for an enlarged prostate, which may be currently residing in his ego.  This can cause frequent urination, which would mean that he may miss important information in briefings that could affect his decision making.  The more serious concerns would be a stroke, heart disease, which can lead to heart attacks, and dementia (Medicine Net).  We can only guess as to what Trump’s real health status is, but based on his age alone, he is just as likely to suffer a deadly medical issue as Clinton.

Regardless of which candidate winds up in the Oval Office, the citizens of the United States of America should be concerned.  Clinton has her share of noted issues that cannot go ignored.  It is not out of the question that she could pass due to a blood clot brought on by pneumonia at her age.  Likewise, Trump is at an age when health concerns can quickly solidify into something dangerous.  The stress of being a president is second to none.  Look at how Obama’s appearance changed drastically over his time in office.  Halloween mask manufacturers are probably mad having to make new masks every year to keep up with his aging.  If the Oval Office puts that much stress on the president, the outcome is again almost certain: zombies in the White House.
