Irony Alert: Clinton Says 'GOP Is Imploding'

USA

During a Wednesday interview, failed election candidate Hillary Clinton asserted that the GOP is “imploding,” as reported by NY Post.

“There are a lot of things that I worry about, this is actually on my list, of what I worry about. The Republican Party is imploding,” stated Clinton.

First and foremost, alleging the implosion of the Republican Party is quite bold, especially coming from someone like Hillary Clinton. Over the past 16 months, the corruption, elitism, and pay to play tactics of the Democrat Party have been unearthed. It’s not a pretty picture. Furthermore, the election of President Trump has caused Democrats to lose all sense of reason and respectability.

Instead of taking interviews and stating that Republicans are imploding, perhaps Clinton should pay more attention to the so-called progressives who are working night and day to tear this country apart. Republicans are not the ones ripping down historical monuments, burning down college campuses, attacking people in the streets, and blocking highway traffic. These are the actions of Democratic supporters, and very few of their leaders have spoken out against them or condemned their inexcusable behavior.

The Democratic Party began imploding from the moment Americans learned that Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton. For months, the media coddled them and promoted countless egregious polls asserting Clinton’s supposed guaranteed win. They claimed that there was no way a man with no political experience would beat a woman who worked in politics her whole life.

The media assumed that Clinton would win because of her gender and because of her experience working in government and working in politics. What they didn’t take into account was the fact that Clinton’s experience didn’t garner points in her favor. The woman was involved in countless scandals and corruption for longer than some people have been alive. Not only was Clinton a candidate with terrible policies that would have expanded government control in every aspect, but she arrogantly believed the Presidency was owed to her.

It was this belief that led to her ultimate downfall. Unlike President Trump, Hillary Clinton did not truly care for or respect the people of this nation. She slammed half of the country, labeling them as a “basket of deplorables,” simply because they weren’t voting the way she wanted them to. Moreover, Clinton was on record telling her Wall Street allies about the importance of having a “public position” and a “private position.” This statement simply proved Clinton to be yet another disingenuous politician, something that the American people were sick and tired of. However, Clinton and her supporters didn’t care about this. It didn’t matter to them, but it mattered to the silent majority who spoke loudly and clearly on Election Day.

Clinton and the Democrats imploded when they learned that identity politics, intimidation, racial division, and scare tactics would no longer work. Americans finally had enough of it. The media, for all their efforts, didn’t help Clinton by slamming Trump supporters as bigots, racists, sexists, xenophobes, etc. Progressives still haven’t learned that they cannot berate, belittle, or bully people into voting for them.

The Republican Party is not perfect. There is much work for conservatives to do, including tax reform, repealing Obamacare, and purging the phony establishment figures and RINOs from our base. This will eventually happen. It may not happen overnight, but it will happen. Despite the divisiveness of the 2016 Presidential election, the majority of Republicans have come together and begun working with President Trump for the greater good of this nation. Despite the work that needs to be done, the Republican Party is far from implosion, unlike the Democrats.

With each passing day, Democrats become more and more radical, and it is this mistake which shall lead to their ultimate peril. The political left is so anxious to “resist” and oppose President Trump that they’re abandoning whatever shreds of sense and reason they once had. If Republicans rioted in the streets, looted, and prevented progressive speakers from having a platform at their universities, they would never let it go. Somehow this conduct is acceptable when progressives engage in it. This flagrant double standard is another reason why progressives lost in 2016 and will continue to lose future elections.

Republicans will be just fine. As the Democrats continue to fall apart, the GOP simply gets stronger. Conservatives are coming together to get tax reform enacted, to get the wall built along the Southern border. Right wingers are working together to follow through on promises made to the people of this nation. Even Republicans who were vehemently anti-Trump during last year’s election are now placing differences aside to work together. That’s what unity looks like. That’s what strength looks like. Republicans are doing many things in 2017, but imploding is definitely not one of them.
